Configuring view security

You can restrict access to each view group to user groups and individual user accounts.

To configure view security:

1. In the Meridian Explorer Configurator, in the left pane, click the shortcut menu icon next to the name of the view that you want to configure. The shortcut menu appears.
2. Click Edit. The Edit dialog for the corresponding view appears. The options shown are those that we configured when the view was created as described in Creating repository views.
3. Click Security in the left pane. The Security options appear in the right pane.The user groups and user accounts that are allowed to use the current view group are listed in Allowed Groups.

To add a group:

• Type the group name in Local Group and click the Validate Group button . If the group is valid, it is added to Allowed Groups.

To remove a group:

• Right click a group name in Allowed Groups and select Remove from the shortcut menu that appears.
